Air Plants (Tillandsia) – Nature’s Floating Wonders

Appearance:
Air plants come in an incredible variety of shapes and colors, from soft, silvery-green whorls to spiky rosettes with vibrant pink or red blushes when in bloom. With no need for soil, they appear almost otherworldly like living sculptures. Some varieties have fuzzy, velvety leaves, while others are smooth and sleek. Their unique form makes them perfect for terrariums, hanging displays, or mounted on driftwood.

Ideal Growing Conditions:
Air plants thrive in bright, indirect light and enjoy good air circulation. A light misting 2–3 times a week (or a soak once a week) keeps them happy and hydrated. They prefer warm temperatures and a spot away from direct sun or cold drafts. Great for beginners and plant lovers who want low-maintenance beauty with a modern, minimal feel.

Unique Qualities:

  • No soil? No problem! Air plants absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves.
  • Highly versatile display them in shells, hanging globes, mounted frames, or just perched on a shelf.
  • Blooming plants may produce vibrant flowers, and many varieties will also grow "pups" (baby plants) after blooming, creating a whole air plant family!

Note about Variation:
Each air plant is one of a kind! Leaf shape, size, and color may vary slightly, giving your plant a unique personality all its own.
