Appearance:
A Chantrieri Alocasia is a stunning hybrid plant known for its large, dark, glossy leaves with wavy edges and a striking burgundy underside. Growing upright to around 2ft tall, this plant makes a stunning statement plant indoors or on a shaded patio.

Ideal Growing Conditions:
This Alocasia thrives in bright, indirect light and appreciates a warm, humid environment that mimics its tropical origins. Keep the soil consistently moist but well-draining, and avoid letting it fully dry out. Humidity levels above 60% are ideal, making it a great candidate for a humidifier or placement in a naturally humid space. Protect it from direct harsh sunlight, which can scorch the delicate variegated portions of its leaves, and bring it indoors if temperatures drop below 60°F.

Unique Qualities:
The Cantrieri's leaves emerge a deep inky blue that fades into a deep purplish green, showing off its rich burgundy undersides. Its large leathery leaves sit on beautiful wine colored stems.
